Epoxy Flooring Services
The "gold standard" for sanitary, chemical-resistant, and durable commercial floors. We install professional, multi-layer epoxy systems that will never peel or fail.
Why Choose an Epoxy "System"?
Epoxy is not "paint." A professional epoxy floor is a multi-layer, liquid-applied resin "system" that is poured on top of a mechanically-prepared concrete slab. It cures into a hard, seamless, and non-porous surface that is perfect for demanding environments.
- Sanitary & Seamless: With no seams or grout lines, bacteria has nowhere to hide. It can be coved up the wall for a truly seamless "bathtub" floor, perfect for food processing in Fresno.
- Chemical Resistant: A 100% solids epoxy floor is impervious to oils, acids, solvents, and harsh cleaning agents.
- Durable & Impact Resistant: It can be engineered to handle heavy forklift traffic, impact, and abrasion.
- Light Reflective: A high-gloss epoxy finish (like our blog post explains) brightens a facility, improving safety and reducing energy costs.
Our Process: Why Our Floors Never Peel
The #1 failure of epoxy is peeling and delamination. This is *always* caused by a "hobbyist" installer who skips the most critical step: substrate preparation. An installer who uses a "power washer" or "acid etch" is not a professional, and their floor will fail.
Our "Asset Protection" process is a guarantee against failure. We use industrial diamond grinders or shot blasters to achieve a "Concrete Surface Profile" (CSP) of 3-5. This clean, porous, sandpaper-like surface gives the epoxy a deep mechanical bond that it cannot break. It becomes a permanent part of the concrete itself.
DIY vs. Pro: The "Hot Tire Pickup" Trap
A "DIY" epoxy kit from a box store is not a real flooring system. It's a water-based paint that is less than 3 mils thick (a professional system is 30-100+ mils). These kits fail within a year, often peeling up on car tires ("hot tire pickup") or flaking away in high-traffic areas, leaving you with a worse problem than you started with.
Failed "DIY Kit" (The "Hobbyist")
This water-based paint was applied to an un-prepped slab. It peeled up under "hot tire pickup" in less than a year.
Professional Epoxy (The "Pro")
A thick, 100% solids epoxy system bonded to a diamond-ground slab. This is a permanent, industrial-grade asset.

Epoxy Flooring FAQs
How long does installation take?
A standard 3-layer system (primer, body coat, topcoat) typically takes 3-5 days. This includes 1 day for preparation, 1-2 days for installation, and 24-48 hours for the final cure before it can accept foot or forklift traffic.
How strong are the fumes (VOCs)?
We are experts in working in occupied facilities. We use 100% solids, low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) epoxy systems that have minimal odor. We also use HEPA-filtered dust extractors during grinding to ensure a clean, dust-free environment.
What is Urethane Cement?
Urethane cement is a specialized type of coating. It is the "king" of food & beverage floors. It is extremely durable and, most importantly, can handle "thermal shock" (hot water washdowns) that would cause standard epoxy to fail.
